Some days (especially in the winter) I think there's just not enough decadent, single varietal Petit Verdot around. Australia handles it well and here is a tasty example. It's a fruit-bomb (no denying) with blueberry, black raspberry, chocolate, vanilla and savoury toasted spice. It's chewy and full in the mouth. Flavours of sweet purple and black fruit are layered with brown spice, and roasted coffee beans.
A wine for grilled beef, roast and mature cheeses.
